Every year my highschool will held an event on a certain date that is called annual dinner day. Actually the main event is just the dinner because it was being done by all senior by generation to generation but we the Senior Of year 2000 want to add something new to make the event become more precious and amazing compared to all the last previous years.The student representative council and his subordinates had selected a few members to help them organize the event. In my luck, I was appointed to help them. We were divided into different groups to make the event went well. My team and I had to find a suitable hotel that can accommodates all our friends and guests.
It may sound easy but actually it was the most challenging task because we need to check and ask the hotel about the size of the hall and the accommodation. As time passed, we manage to find one hotel that suited with our condition. On to the next part, we need to help the other team that handle the decoration of the hall. We use the money that we had collected from our first years to buy the decorations and other stuffs.
In the meantime we have to study and focus on our exam which is SPM. The reason why we did the event near to our SPM examination was because to make sure that we can release our stress from studying and to ensure that even though that we have important exam to take, we also need to take a breath and chill out for a moment before our last time together with friends and teachers.
For the day of the event we need to dress based on the dresscode of the event. The code is elegant and stylish so most of my friend would wear suit and tie and the same goes for me. The event started in the evening which started with the speech from the principal and our representative student. Then the event will be continued with our special guests which is the orphans. Their Nasyid performance was splendid and received a great applause from the audiences.
The event continued with the teacher performance that is Dangdut Challenge. It was hilarious and fun to see our principal and other teachers commitment to the event and all of them seem to be having a fun time together with all the students. We will have a break during Asar to perform our prayer and will be continued at 7 o clock.At night the main event will be held which is our main attraction is the celebrity that we had call to attend our event. She sang a few song and sign an autograph for all the student and teacher.
And lastly, there was a performance from our batchmates. They are actually the most awaited in all event that being held in our school. The group names is Handsome Gorillaz and they performed the kpop dance that they have been trained specifically for the event. Their performance was astonishing and fascinating.The celebrity was very impressed and enjoyed our event and praise to our hardworking and wishing us a good luck. After that the dj played a song and to whom who want to dance with their partner are allowed. Before we end our event, there is a photo session and a booth was open for everyone to take their polaroid picture with friend or teachers. Even though we, the organizer who didn’t get to enjoy much of the event, we still felt happy and relieved to see our friends, classmates, roommates and everyone enjoyed the event and i think that this will be the day that i will never forget.
